COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado: In a shocking incident at The Citadel Mall on Christmas Eve, one person lost their life, and three others sustained serious injuries in a shooting, as confirmed by local authorities on Sunday.

The unsettling event unfolded at approximately 4:34 p.m. local time and reportedly originated from a dispute between two groups, culminating in a violent shooting. Tragically, one man succumbed to an apparent gunshot wound at the scene, while two individuals were rushed to the hospital in serious condition. A female, fortunately, remained in stable condition and did not suffer a gunshot wound, as detailed by the Colorado Springs public information officer in a statement to ABC News on Sunday night.

In the aftermath of the incident, multiple individuals were apprehended by law enforcement, with ongoing efforts to ascertain whether the suspected shooter is among those detained, according to police sources.
