KUWAIT CITY , Dec 4: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has urged drivers to “think carefully” before using parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities, reports Al-Seyassah daily. In a post on its official account on the X platform, the ministry highlighted Article 63 of Law No. 8 of 2010. The law states that anyone who parks in spaces designated for individuals with disabilities without justification could face imprisonment for up to one month, a fine of up to 100 dinars, or both penalties. This reminder underscores the importance of respecting the rights of people with disabilities and adhering to the law.
