KUWAIT CITY, June 25: Around 10 Kuwaiti citizens have been the victims of fraud daily over the last three years, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources. According to sources, most fraud cases are related to real estate properties; pointing out that the court deals with about 10 fraud cases daily.

Sources said the fake investments crime comes second, while the fraudulent sale of luxury cars is in third place with almost 500 Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates victimized. Sources pointed out that despite the large number of victims so far; the number is still increasing as new victims continue to be added to the list due to the high professional level of criminals and the new ideas they create to deceive others.

Sources said the criminals usually take advantage of the people’s desire to be rich quickly by promising them high gains and regular interest. Sources went on to say that in some cases, the criminal continues to pay the revenues of the fake investment for almost one year and then the truth is revealed.
