KUWAIT CITY, SEP 01: The General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigation has successfully apprehended 104 expats who were in violation of residence and work laws in the Farwaniya, Ahmadi, and capital governorates. These arrests were the result of ongoing inspection campaigns carried out at various hotels. Furthermore, the Department of Follow-up of Violators, responsible for monitoring hotels and hotel apartments, arrested two individuals for breaching residence and work regulations.

Additionally, the Department of Research and Investigation made an important arrest in the Abu Halifa area. They detained an Asian expat who was found to be selling locally produced liquor. A total of 70 bottles of locally made wine were confiscated from his possession. The authorities have referred these cases to the appropriate legal authorities to initiate legal proceedings against the individuals involved.
