12 expert doctors to elevate medical care in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 2: The Ministry of Health has announced the hosting of 12 doctors and specialists in various medical and health fields as part of the ‘Visiting Doctors Program.’ The Ministry explained that these doctors are specialized experts from Canada, Britain, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Germany, covering a wide range of fields including general surgery, urology, otolaryngology, nursing, radiation protection, and other vital areas. The visiting physicians’ roles include providing medical and therapeutic care to patients, conducting examinations, accurately diagnosing conditions, and performing advanced surgical operations requiring specialized skills and expertise.

Furthermore, the visiting physicians program facilitates the exchange of expertise and knowledge with local health professionals, aimed at enhancing medical performance and updating therapeutic and cognitive approaches according to international standards. The Ministry emphasized that the program underscores its commitment to developing the health sector by leveraging global medical expertise. They plan to continue attracting international medical talent and developing advanced training programs to improve healthcare services.

Individuals can access the list of visiting doctors, schedule appointments in advance, and upload required data and reports via the Kuwait-Health application or the unified government application ‘Sahl.'”
