The Premier Sport Academy in association with Everton F.C. and under the sponsorship of Porsche Centre Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company and Elite Sports Direct, held their Gala Presentation Evening Season 2016-17 at the Marina Hotel this week.More than 450 players and guests filled the Salwa Sabah Al-Ahmad Theatre and Hall for the celebratory gathering, which was attended by the Guest of Honour Group Captain Finlay McLean, MA, BA, RAF, Defence Attache, British Embassy. The event convened with the playing of the national anthems of Kuwait and the United Kingdom. Several other prominent guests, sponsors and supporters were in attendance. During the evening, more than 150 prestigious awards were presented to selected players, coaches and sponsors at the end of a tremendously successful season of training courses, matches, festivals, tournaments, overseas tours and special events involving over 500 young players.Over 120 of these players, aged from 6 to 18 years, were nominated by their coaches to receive awards in several categories, including: Most Outstanding, Most Improved, Most Sporting, Top Goalkeeper, Top Trainer, Coaches Award and Centre of Excellence Team Player.
