KUWAIT CITY, June 29: About 1,400 teachers from Palestine and Jordan have applied online to work in the Ministry of Education with the specializations that were announced earlier, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting sources. Sources confirmed the ministry has started sorting the applications in order to forward the shortlisted applicants to the External Contracting Committee headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Osama Al-Sultan. Sources said the committee will meet the applicants who fulfilled all the conditions set by the ministry.

Sources disclosed the procedures for appointing new teachers within the outsourcing plan will resume next month, after a hiatus of more than two years due to the corona pandemic. Sources stressed the committee is keen on recruiting teachers that the ministry needs for academic year 2022/2023. Sources added the available job grades for teachers are for the following specializations: English, French, Science, Physics, Geology, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
