15 domestic labor recruitment licenses suspended

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23: The Public Authority for Manpower in Kuwait has released its latest report on domestic labor office licenses and graduate services, reports Al-Seyassah daily. As of November, the Authority reported 15 suspended licenses for domestic labor offices, while 468 offices remained actively registered. The report also noted 409 complaints filed against these offices during the same period. In terms of licensing activity, 19 licenses were renewed, 13 were suspended, and 6 new licenses were issued. Additionally, the Authority announced a new feature in its “Sahel” application called the “Graduates’ Reward Transaction” service. This service, accessible through the “Fakhrna Platform” within the app, allows recent graduates to apply for rewards and file grievances related to these transactions. This update reflects the Authority’s efforts to streamline services for both the domestic labor sector and recent graduates in Kuwait.
