KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: A gathering of 16 esteemed clubs, whose endorsements were revoked by the former Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Muhammad Al-Aiban, convened in a meeting chaired by Yousef Al-Baidan, head of the General Sports Authority. During the session, a unanimous decision was reached to organize a forthcoming press conference. In this event, various undisclosed matters and concealed documents, involving fraudulent activities and explicit legal violations not previously brought to the attention of the Sports Street, will be revealed.

Additionally, the participants agreed to seek interviews with the current Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Mr. Daoud Marafi, and the President of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee, Sheikh Fahd Nasser Al-Sabah. The purpose is to address concerns and present their perspectives on the unprecedented decision to cancel their advertising.

The 16 clubs expressed their deep disappointment, branding the cancellation of their endorsements as a catastrophic event that has dismantled the hard work and positive reputation painstakingly built over the years. These clubs, which have been pillars of Kuwaiti sports on both local and international fronts, emphasized that the decision has not only tarnished their history but also impacted Kuwait's standing in international sports federations. The cancellation poses a threat to Kuwait's positions in these federations, with potential repercussions on the global stage.

Furthermore, the decision adversely affected the employees of the clubs and federations, abruptly rendering their status illegal. With the revocation of advertising, these individuals found themselves unemployed, facing challenges in transferring their residency to alternative entities.
