KUWAIT CITY, Jul 14: Since the beginning of crisis based on cabinets decision to suspend commercial flights from mid Marh until yesterday 1,049 flights have flown with 165,206 passengers out from Kuwait.

The General Administration of Aviation department handles requests from several countries and embassies that wish to operate flights to evacuate their citizens to their country on daily basis, as approval is given within 24 hours to operate the flight for airlines.

From 1st August commercial flights will operate from Kuwait airport for Kuwaitis and expats who wish to depart and arrive, based on health requirements approved by the countries for whom it is heading to. The Department of Air Transport in Civil Aviation asked 42 local and international airlines operating in Kuwait International Airport to submit travel schedules before July 15th.
