KUWAIT CITY, Jul 4: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced the graduation of 17 Kuwaiti officers from the Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies in Qatar (Joint Command and Staff Course No. 10), alongside officers from various Gulf, Arab, and foreign countries.

In a press statement on Thursday, the ministry quoted Brigadier General Bader Rasman, the Kuwaiti military attaché in Qatar, who noted that the batch included 15 officers from the Kuwaiti army and two from the Kuwaiti National Guard. These officers received advanced training in leadership, management, defense operations, and individual research.

Rasman highlighted that the course, which began last September, enhances the scientific and military preparation of the graduating officers. It aims to develop their capabilities in staff work and leadership procedures, improving their efficiency in planning and implementing operations and analyzing the operational environment at both tactical and operational levels.

The course's qualification and preparation program follows advanced educational curricula that incorporate international and regional developments. This enriches military and academic thought, hones skills in planning, analysis, battle management, and decision-making, and qualifies the officers for leadership roles.
