KUWAIT, May 6 : The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health reported, Wednesday, 485 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally to 6,289. With 2 deaths total is 42, 88 cases are in intensive care of which 40 are critical.
MOH conducted field medical tests and screening campaigns in several areas, including Jleeb, Mahboula, Bneid Al-Qar and Hawally
From 485 cases 152 are of Indian nationality, 99 are Kuwaiti, 84 are Egyptians and 49 are Bangladeshis - 126 infected in Farwaniya, followed by about 106 in Hawally Governorate, 70 in Capital Governorate, 52 in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, 49 in Jahra and 82 are in institutional and home quarantine
Earlier today, Health Minister Dr. Basel Al-Sabah announced the recovery of 85 patients as the total is brought to 2,032 recoveries (KUNA)
