Two earthquakes hit Red Sea Area, near Sudan and Saudi Arabia.

DUBAI, UAE, July 27: The Red Sea region experienced two significant earthquakes on Saturday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The first earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.7, occurred approximately 197 kilometers northeast of Tokar, Sudan. This was followed by a second tremor measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, which was recorded about 174 kilometers northeast of Tokar.

The Saudi Geological Survey reported that its seismic monitoring stations detected a 4.7-magnitude earthquake in the Red Sea, specifically 161 kilometers west of Al Lith Governorate in the Makkah Al Mukarramah region.

No immediate reports of damage or injuries have been confirmed.
