KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: Decree No. 155 of 2024 has been issued, revoking the Kuwaiti citizenship of Alaa Hussein Ali Al-Khafaji Al-Jaber and Muhammad Hamad Fahd Al-Juwaid. This decision was made under Article 14/2 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959, concerning the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amendments.
According to the second paragraph of Article 14, citizenship can be revoked from individuals who work for a foreign country in a state of war with Kuwait or with which political relations have been severed.
