KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: The Ministry of Interior successfully arrested 23 individuals involved in 17 cases, seizing approximately 19.5 kilograms of various types of narcotics, 5,200 psychotropic pills, firearms, ammunition, and illicit proceeds. The General Department of Narcotics Control's relentless efforts in enforcing the law and ensuring public safety led to the arrest of individuals of various nationalities involved in drug trafficking.
The seized items, including chemicals, crystal meth, hashish, marijuana, cocaine, and weapons, were admitted by the defendants to be intended for trafficking and abuse. The case has been referred to the appropriate authorities for legal action. The Ministry emphasizes its ongoing commitment to combating drug-related crimes, urging the public to cooperate by reporting any suspicious activities through emergency hotlines.
