KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: Major Mohammed Al-Ardi from the General Department of Drug Control at the Ministry of Interior has issued a warning about the dangers of "GBL" and "GHB," two highly dangerous narcotics recently found among drug users. He explained that consuming just 2.5 milliliters of these substances, often mixed with drinks, can lead to immediate death.

The effects of these drugs include loss of consciousness and numbness, with a single use being enough to escalate into addiction. Major Al-Ardi emphasized that both drugs are criminalized under local and international law, and anyone caught using them will face punishment according to the Psychotropic Substances Law. He also noted that young people are being targeted by drug dealers, urging citizens and residents to be vigilant and monitor their children’s friends and social circles to prevent them from becoming victims of drug dealers.
