KUWAIT CITY, July 28: A recent inspection by the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition in the Capital Governorate's Mubarakiya Market has resulted in issuing 26 violations. The crackdown led to the destruction of 262 kilograms of spoiled fish and 25 kilograms of adulterated meat.

According to the Authority, the violations ranged from displaying materials unfit for human consumption to trading adulterated food. Other infractions included employing workers without health certificates and failing to adhere to public hygiene rules and requirements.

The inspection highlights ongoing efforts by the Authority to ensure food safety and public health standards in Kuwait.
