KUWAIT, May 2 : The Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced today, Saturday, that 3 commercial stores were booked for violating commercial stores that did not adhere to the precautionary measures to contain spread of coronavirus.


MOI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that its inspection teams monitored 129 cooperative societies, supermarkets, commercial stores and vegetable stands to determine the extent of their commitment and maintain the stability of product prices as well as the reopening of a commercial store.


The inspection teams monitored 34 catering branches to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries.


Emergency center had received four complaints through the control centers, while the ration cards were renewed and issued for 23. (KUNA)
