KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: During its session yesterday, the Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Nayef Al-Dahoum, sentenced three Gulf nationals to long-term prison with hard labor and imposed fines totaling over one million dinars in connection with a case of Kuwaiti citizenship forgery and illicitly benefiting from its privileges. The court ruled that the first and second defendants be imprisoned for ten years and dismissed from their jobs, while the third defendant was sentenced to seven years in prison. In its ruling, the court stated that the total fines, which exceeded one million dinars, were double the amounts the defendants had unlawfully obtained. It convicted the three Gulf nationals of impersonating members of a tribe and found that they had forged Kuwaiti nationality to gain benefits
