KUWAIT CITY, Oct 2,:The Third Higher Education Games are set to kick off on the 22nd of this month. Organized by the Kuwait School Sports and Higher Education Federation, these games will feature a variety of competitions. Approved events for this new edition include boys' and girls' volleyball, boys' turf football, boys' and girls' basketball, men's triple basketball, boys' and girls' gymnasium activities, and boys' and girls' padel.

During the initial preparatory meeting, the committee discussed various aspects of the upcoming session. This included setting the schedule, reviewing proposals from college and university officials participating in the event. One of the proposals was to establish a commitment pledge for all participants. The meeting also addressed the changes introduced in the third edition, such as new games, hosting arrangements by universities and colleges, conditions for the official sponsor, the formation of a new Disciplinary Committee, registration procedures, and the selection of sports uniforms for the participating teams.

Faisal Al-Maqseed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the School Union and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the session, emphasized the significance of the event continuing for the third consecutive year. He acknowledged the tremendous efforts put forth by the Supreme Committee members and subcommittees, as well as the unwavering support from participating colleges, universities, and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training. Together, they are dedicated to ensuring the success of these competitions, recognizing their role as essential partners in the execution of the Federation's activities and events.
