KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: Following directives from His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the Traffic and Operations Sector successfully apprehended four reckless drivers identified as: Youssef Haitham Al-Kharaz, Dhari Badr Al-Sabah, Dhari Muhammad Al-Anzi, Nasser Badr Al-Barouni

The individuals were seen in a widely circulated video on social media engaging in dangerous driving and reckless behavior that endangered their lives and the lives of others in front of a wedding hall in the Al-Shaab area.

The arrests were made following immediate investigations conducted by the Security Control Department in cooperation with the Hawalli Rescue Police Department. The vehicles involved were seized and transferred to the impound garage. Legal action has been taken against the offenders, with cases registered under No. 62/2024 for causing an accident that damaged state property, and No. 63/2024 for causing property damage and injury by mistake. The individuals have been referred to the central prison.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to firmly enforce the law against violators and urged the public to adhere to traffic regulations to ensure the safety of lives and property. The Ministry emphasized that protecting citizens and residents remains its top priority.
