KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: The suspension of the head of an ‘external’ security apparatus, identified only as M.S. was because he was allegedly covering the activities of four Kuwaitis said to be affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood and were allegedly ‘cooperating’ with the eight Egyptians members of the terrorist cell who were recently arrested and extradited to Cairo at the request of the Egyptian government, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting security sources.

The same sources said the names of the four Kuwaitis were mentioned by the head of the cell members during interrogations with the security authorities in Egypt.

The leader of the cell admitted that he received support and assistance from the four Kuwaitis who work for charities and belong to the Muslim Brotherhood. He added, the four Kuwaitis helped him and the other cell members with residence permit formalities and facilitated their stay in the country and gave them jobs in companies.
