KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: The Kuwait Cassation Court sentenced a twitter user to 4 yrs in prison with hard labor and a fine of KD 1,000 for defaming the Amir, charges of sedition and possession of weapon and misusing a phone. He had tweeted on Twitter by writing to overthrow the regime in an illegal way and challenged the rights and authority of the Amir and insulted him. He intentionally misused the telephone.
