448 Domestic Labor Recruitment Offices Active

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has provided an update on the status of domestic labor recruitment offices in Kuwait. As of August 31st, 448 licensed offices are operating in Kuwait.

Over the past month, PAM has taken the following actions:

  • Processed 4 requests for license cancellations
  • Issued 7 new work licenses
  • Renewed 59 existing licenses
  • Lifted the suspension on 10 offices

Currently, 12 offices remain under suspension by PAM. The Department of Regulating Domestic Labor Recruitment has received a total of 377 complaints from workers and employers.

PAM emphasized its commitment to resolving disputes fairly and protecting the rights of all parties involved in the domestic labor recruitment process. The authority continues to regulate and monitor the sector to ensure compliance with labor laws and safeguard the welfare of domestic workers in Kuwait.
