KUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: The Kuwait University has made a significant achievement in scientific research by having 46 distinguished faculty members recognized in the list of the “Top 2 percent of Scientists in the World,” published by Stanford University for the year 2024. This prestigious list highlights the most academically cited researchers across various disciplines and includes a total of 66 scientists from Kuwait. Remarkably, the Kuwait University accounts for 70 percent of this representation among the participating research and educational institutions in the country. This accomplishment underscores Kuwait University’s commitment to enhancing the quality of scientific research and its ongoing efforts to develop its research and academic programs.
