47 health clinics to stay open during Eid holidays

KUWAIT CITY, March 26: The Ministry of Health has announced a comprehensive operational plan for primary healthcare centers during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday in 2025 . The plan includes the operation of 47 health centers in various regions of the country to ensure continuous healthcare services around the clock and provide medical care to both citizens and residents without interruption throughout the holiday. The ministry explained that the plan includes a large number of centers operating 24 hours a day, while others will operate from 7:00 am until midnight .

Also, one center will operate from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm to meet the diverse needs of patients and reduce pressure on emergency departments in hospitals. In the Capital Health Zone, six centers will be operational, including Ali Sabah Al-Salem Center in Sulaibikhat, Abdulrahman Al-Zaid Center in Khaitan, and Abdullah Al-Abd Al-Hadi Center in Granada, all of which will operate around the clock. Three additional centers will operate from 7:00 am to midnight, which are the Hassan Al-Dehani Center in Adailiya, the Abdulaziz Hussein Center in Mishref, and the Abdullah Al- Othman Center in Mirqab. In the Hawally Health Zone, six centers will be operational, including Rumaithiya and Salwa specialized centers, which will operate 24 hours a day.

The remaining centers, such as West Salmiya, West Salwa, West Mishref, and Mahmoud Haji Haidar Center in Bayan will operate until midnight. In the Farwaniya Health Zone, nine centers will be operational, including the South Firdous, West Andalus, and Ardiya centers, which will provide services throughout the day. Also, Khaitan, Abdullah Mubarak, South Ardiya, South Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Sabah Al-Nasser, and Al-Raqi centers will operate until midnight. The Ahmadi Health Zone will have the largest number of centers operating during the holiday, with a total of 12 centers, all functioning 24 hours a day. These include the West Sabahiya, Sabah Al-Ahmad A, Fahaheel, Wafra, Al-Egaila, Masayel, Al-Zohor, Ahmadi, Fintas, Industrial Ports, South Sabahiya, and the Women’s Center in Ali Sabah Al-Salem.
