KUWAIT CITY, March 12: On the first day of Ramadan, the country witnessed a total of five deaths in traffic accidents. Three individuals - 2 Nepalese and an unidentified man - were run over by a car driven by a Kuwaiti citizen on the Coastal Road opposite Mahboula, resulting in their deaths. When the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, security and paramedics rushed to the location and referred the bodies of the deceased to the Forensic Medicine Department. The Kuwaiti motorist has been arrested. An investigation was opened into the accident, and a case was registered.

Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen was run over by a car on Subiya Road, and succumbed to serious injuries. His body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Department, and a case was registered. In addition, an Afghan expatriate died when his vehicle collided with another on Subiya Road. He was removed from the wreckage of his vehicle, and his body was referred to Forensic Medicine. A case was registered.
