KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: The Ministry of Information is preparing to directly contract with a company to purchase the broadcasting rights for the Gulf Cup matches of the “Gulf 26” football championship for USD 5 million. Informed sources explained that the ministry, based on the organizing laws, has communicated with the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT), confirming that the majority of its members support the direct contract, pending completion of the necessary approvals from other regulatory authorities. The ministry aims to secure the rights to broadcast this important sports championship, which viewers in all Gulf countries are eagerly anticipating.
