KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: The General Traffic Department announced the launch of a comprehensive security and traffic campaign across major highways. The operation involved coordinated efforts from various Ministry of Interior sectors, deploying 45 traffic patrols, 57 emergency police patrols, 35 private security patrols, and 45 public security patrols.
According to the department, the campaign led to the arrest of 50 individuals, including wanted persons and residency violators, who were handed over to the traffic police. Authorities also seized narcotics and issued 1,344 traffic violations. Additionally, 16 vehicles and motorcycles found to be in violation were impounded.
