LOS ANGELES, Nov 18m (Agencies): 50 Cent has managed to avoid facing criminal charges following an incident where he threw a microphone off stage, reportedly hitting a concertgoer. During a Crypto.com Arena show in August, footage captured by fans depicted the rapper, aged 48, discarding two malfunctioning microphones towards the crew near the crowd. Although the footage did not reveal the microphones' landing, subsequent photos emerged, featuring the alleged victim, POWER 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain.
In the aftermath of the incident, Monegain suffered multiple head and face lacerations, prompting her to file a police report. The case was initially presented as a felony to the L.A. County District Attorney, who subsequently referred it to the L.A. City Attorney's office. However, as of now, the City Attorney's office has not pursued criminal charges against the rapper.
