KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: Through consistent security monitoring, the Criminal Security Sector successfully arrested seven individuals involved in operating two local illicit liquor factories and engaging in trade with these products.

The vigilant oversight by the Criminal Security Sector led to the arrest of seven individuals in separate cases. They face charges related to the manufacturing, selling, and trafficking of "homemade" liquor. The investigation, conducted by the General Administration of Criminal Investigation, represented by the Al-Ahmadi Governorate Investigation Department and the Capital Governorate Investigation Department, resulted in the discovery of 181 barrels containing raw material for producing alcohol, 413 bottles of liquor, four distillation devices, and various manufacturing tools. The apprehended individuals and the seized items are now being handed over to the competent authorities for the necessary legal actions to be taken against them.
