Mahboula, Salmiya (Barayeh Salem), Fahaheel, Hawally, and Khaitan hotspots

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: In a relentless effort to combat activities that undermine public morals, the General Department of Criminal Investigation, through the Department for the Protection of Public Morals, has taken action against individuals engaged in promoting prostitution on social media platforms. This operation resulted in the arrest of 74 expats across multiple locations, including Mahboula, Salmiya (Brayeh Salem), Fahaheel, Hawally, and Khaitan, on charges related to prostitution for monetary gains. These arrests were made in connection with 18 separate cases. The detainees have been handed over to the relevant authorities to initiate the necessary legal proceedings against them, reinforcing the commitment to uphold public morals.
