KUWAIT CITY, July 14: An eight-year old Arab girl died after she was trapped between the lift and the wall of a building in Abu Halifa area on Thursday. In a press statement issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), the Public Relations and Media Department explained that firefighters were dispatched to the location with securitymen and paramedics after the Control Room of KFSD received information about the girl who was trapped between the lift and the wall.Firefighters managed to pull out the girl and paramedics rushed her to the nearest hospital but she was declared dead on arrival. Investigations revealed that the victim was coming out of the lift when it suddenly moved, trapping her between the lift and the wall. Her body was squeezed, resulting in several serious injuries.
