KUWAIT CITY, April 25: About 80 percent of the total population of 4.7 million in Kuwait, which is more than 3.8 million citizens and residents, have bank accounts, as per official statistics, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to the statistics, 836,000 individuals who have their own bank accounts, constituting about 22 percent of the population, have credit cards. About 36 percent of those with bank balances transfer and receive money via banking applications.

They pay their bills online and make purchases online as well. Also, 18 percent of women and 25 percent men have credit cards, and 38 percent of women and 35 percent men conduct online transactions.
