KUWAIT CITY, July 25: An inspection conducted by the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition at Mubarakiya Market led to the destruction of 90 kilograms of fish and the issuance of 31 violation reports.

The authority detailed in a post on its “X” account that the violations uncovered included the sale of food items deemed unfit for human consumption, with changes in color, shape, and smell. Other infractions involved the trading of adulterated food, employees handling food without health certificates, and employers hiring workers without proper health documentation.

Additionally, the inspection revealed non-compliance with hygiene standards, both general and personal, and the operation of a food facility lacking a valid health license.
