ABK launches the first-of-its-kind “Virtual Customer Service Representative” in the banking Industry

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) has launched the “Virtual Customer Service Representative,” the first service of its kind in Kuwait, now available in the Al Khiran Mall, Al Jabriya, Al Zahra, and Al Salmiya branches.

This service offers a smooth and convenient way for customers to complete their banking transactions, simplifying processes and enhancing the bank’s digital services for its customers.

With the new service, customers can enjoy several benefits without the need to wait inside the branch. These benefits include activating or changing withdrawal limits for all types of cards, activating frozen accounts, stopping or requesting a new or replacement card, receiving an electronic account statement, and assistance with banking services through the website and the bank’s mobile application.

Commenting on this launch, Johair Marafi General Manager of the Retail Banking Division at ABK, said: “We are committed to enhancing the customer experience and achieving integration between branches and the contact center. Our goal is to provide customers with a seamless banking experience. With the ‘Virtual Customer Service Representative,’ interacting with our customers will be easier and more efficient than ever before.”

Marafi explained how to utilize the new service, stating that once a customer visits the branch and enters their mobile number through the smart device provided in the branch, a customer service representative from the contact center will call the customer within a maximum of 30 seconds to complete his transaction seamlessly.

She added, “We are proud to lead the evolution of the banking Industry in Kuwait by introducing our innovative ‘Virtual Customer Service Representative’ service, which sets new standards for convenience and efficiency in interacting with customers and meeting their ever-changing needs.”
