KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah discussed the Ministry of Information's preparations for Kuwait to host the 45th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Supreme Council Summit, set to be held on December 1. This meeting followed a visit by Sheikh Fahad on Wednesday to the Ministry of Information, where he was welcomed by Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, along with Information Ministry Undersecretary Nasser Al-Muhaisen and Assistant Undersecretaries.

During the visit, Sheikh Fahad and Minister Al-Mutairi toured various sectors within the Ministry of Information, including television and radio studios, and reviewed the technologies in use. Sheikh Fahad commended the cooperation between the Ministries of Defense, Interior, and Information, highlighting how this partnership has effectively addressed security and social issues of concern to citizens and residents. He noted that this collaborative approach has successfully disseminated awareness messages to a broad audience, proving its value in tackling challenges and achieving shared goals.

Sheikh Fahad emphasized the need for collaboration among ministries and state institutions to ensure coordinated efforts, particularly with the Ministry of Information, which serves as a primary platform for delivering awareness messages from government agencies to the public. He and Minister Al-Mutairi also visited the Ministry of Information Museum, which showcases the history and development of media in Kuwait. The museum features photos of memorable works, along with equipment such as cameras and audio devices previously used in ministry programs, illustrating the evolution of Kuwaiti media.
