LOS ANGELES, Oct 29, (Agencies): Daniel Radcliffe is relishing his new role as a father. At 34 years old, the actor reflects on the first half-year of parenthood with his girlfriend, Erin Darke, and their son.

"It's been incredible. Many people advised us to simply endure the first six months, claiming that it gets better afterward. But I've genuinely savored these initial six months," Radcliffe expressed. "To be honest, I didn't have specific expectations, but it's been amazing. He's a remarkable little person, and I'm constantly in awe."

Earlier this year, in March, a representative for the 34-year-old star of the Harry Potter franchise confirmed that Erin Darke, a 39-year-old actress, was expecting. The couple joyfully welcomed their child the following month.

In a July interview, Radcliffe proudly disclosed that their first child is a baby boy.

"It's been quite an adventure. It's a whirlwind of emotions and intensity, but he's a true wonder, and Erin has been nothing short of amazing. It's a privilege to have this time with him," Radcliffe remarked. "I had always intended to take some time off, a luxury not everyone has, so I'm fortunate to spend a lot of time with him. We're having a fantastic journey together."

Radcliffe also hinted that his little one will influence his career choices in the future.

"I truly enjoy being with him, and I suspect I'll miss him when I return to work later this year," he shared. "I anticipate that I'll be taking on fewer projects in the coming years to savor this precious time with my son."
