DOHA, Dec 24, (KUNA): The Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) announced that its General Assembly will convene on Thursday in Kuwait to discuss key agenda items. The meeting will focus on strengthening collaboration among Gulf football federations, aiming to foster the development of the sport in the region and meet the aspirations of Gulf audiences. A highlight of the assembly will be the announcement of the host country for the next Gulf Cup, Khaleeji 27.
This decision reflects the AGCFF’s commitment to enhancing Gulf cooperation and advancing regional football championships. Currently, Kuwait is hosting the Gulf Football Cup, Khaleeji Zain 26, which runs from December 21 to January 3. The event is designed to solidify Kuwait’s role as a premier sports hub, bringing Gulf nations together and promoting the development of football in the region.
