KUWAIT CITY, April 20: In a landmark security campaign, the largest of its kind in Ahmadi Governorate, Public Security personnel conducted extensive operations across various governorate areas to apprehend lawbreakers. Led by the Public Security Sector Undersecretary, Major General Hamad Al-Munifi, and under the field supervision of Brigadier General Hussein Dashti, Acting Director General of the Ahmadi Security Directorate, the campaign resulted in the closure of 33 food trucks and the arrest of 19 street vendors.

The operation also targeted other violations, issuing traffic fines, apprehending individuals in suspicious conditions, and seizing vehicles associated with criminal activities. A security source revealed that the campaign involved 250 officers and personnel, supported by security vehicles and additional backup from the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Directorate.

The primary objectives included apprehending violators of residency laws, targeting those involved in the sale of unsafe food items, and identifying the sources of illegal labor. The source further explained that the campaign's strategy focused on surprise, decisiveness, and rapid action following the thorough lockdown of the targeted areas. This operation marks the first of many planned steps to enforce the country's laws and eliminate violators. The campaign will continue with similar operations across all governorates, intensifying efforts during the summer to pursue residency violators. The source emphasized that, despite the challenging weather conditions, the authorities remain steadfast in their pursuit of violators, stressing that the law must be upheld and all offenders brought to justice.
