KUWAIT CITY, July 21: Hanaa Al Sayed, Director of the Service Development and Work Methods Department, and Badour Al-Enezi, Director of the Human Resources Development Center at Kuwait's Civil Service Commission, emphasized the critical importance of training courses tailored to meet the evolving needs of human resources amid digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) applications. Their statements underscore the significant impact of such training on enhancing the performance of government employees.

These remarks were made during Al-Enezi’s review of Kuwait’s initiatives at the fourth edition of the Forum of Directors of Administration Institutes and Schools in the Arab World, held at the Arab Administrative Development Organization headquarters in Cairo. The event brought together directors and experts from 11 Arab countries.

Al-Enezi revealed that the Civil Service Commission is preparing to launch a new platform aimed at training national cadres in Kuwait’s government agencies. This initiative is part of Kuwait's strategy to leverage digital transformation and AI in improving the training process.

Participation in the forum provided a valuable opportunity to learn from other Arab countries' experiences in developing training processes amid digital advancements. Al-Enezi shared insights into Kuwait’s forthcoming training platform, detailing its benefits, operational mechanisms, and target beneficiaries. The platform aims to expand the number of training programs and workshops available, reaching a broader range of government employees and digitizing procedural workflows.

Although the training platform has not yet been launched, it has received approval from senior leadership and is currently in the preparation phase. Introductory workshops will be conducted to gather feedback and suggestions from various government agencies, ensuring the platform meets unified needs across all sectors in Kuwait.

Dr. Nasser Al-Hattlan Al-Qahtani, Director General of the Arab Administrative Development Organization, highlighted the forum's role in showcasing the contributions of management institutes and schools to the training process. He emphasized the importance of these institutions in addressing the evolving needs of human resources in the context of digital transformation.

In conclusion, Kuwait's emphasis on training in the digital age is seen as a vital step towards improving the efficiency and effectiveness of government employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by technological advancements.
