KUWAIT CITY, October 26: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) has partnered with Gieom, a global leader in software design, to create a centralized platform for the digital management of policy and procedure manuals that regulate the Bank’s operations. This aligns with the Bank’s unwavering commitment to innovating solutions that focus on implementing best governance practices.
ABK consistently focuses on digital transformation, enhancing its product offerings and services while providing a secure and streamlined banking experience for its customers. Renowned for being one of the safest banks in the Middle East, ABK's dedication to achieving operational excellence and increasing customer trust is reflected in its ongoing efforts to improve its internal processes.
On this occasion, Dr. Ayman Al Buloushi, Assistant General Manager of Corporate Governance at ABK, stated, "This collaboration represents an important step forward in our digital transformation strategy. By leveraging Gieom's expertise in digitizing policy and process manuals, we aim to enhance governance practices and raise awareness among employees to achieve best practices in implementing governance rules based on central bank and relevant regulatory authorities’ instructions."
This initiative aims to digitize ABK's policies and operational procedures, providing a source to enhance sound governance practices and improve transparency. Under the new partnership, a comprehensive centralized platform will be established to simplify the management of the Bank's policies and procedures, creating an advanced system for employees and all stakeholders to review and approve documents. This will ensure adherence to best practices and optimal application of governance principles.
Al Buloushi stated that the agreement with Gieom is a continuation of the achievements made previously following ABK’s recent recognition as Best Corporate Governance Bank from Global Business Outlook. This accomplishment reflects ABK’s ability to apply the highest standards of governance and achieve best practices across all its operations. Additionally, it highlights the Bank’s success in developing internal procedures to accelerate the pace of work and enhance the capabilities of its employees, while consistently prioritizing customer needs.
On his part, Mohammed Shakir Abdullah, Chief Business Officer of Gieom, said, "We are excited to partner with ABK in this strategic initiative.
