Kuwait City, September 04: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) recently hosted ‘ABK Juniors Day 2024,’ allowing employees to bring their children to the office. This initiative aims to familiarize the children with their parents’ work and daily responsibilities. The event reflects ABK’s dedication to promoting employee satisfaction, loyalty, and a positive work environment, all of which contribute to enhanced productivity and improved banking services for customers.
The event featured a variety of activities, including the issuance of special work IDs for children, the distribution of refreshments, face painting, and coloring. Additionally, the event included a science show and guided tours of various bank divisions, including the main vault, safe deposit room, data center, and security CCTV room. The event culminated in competitions and the distribution of gifts to all participants.
Commenting on this occasion, Afrah Al Arbash, General Manager of Human Resources at ABK, said, "We are delighted to welcome our employees’ children and shed light on their parents’ work lives. This experience has helped enhance children’s sense of pride in their parents’ essential contributions and roles in delivering outstanding banking services to customers."
Al Arbash emphasized that organizing such events demonstrated ABK’s ongoing efforts to create an ideal work environment that enables them to balance their personal lives and job responsibilities. This ultimately strengthens ABK's leading position in the banking sector in Kuwait. These include sports tournaments, open days, awareness workshops, medical examinations, and exclusive offers, all aimed at strengthening friendship and promoting a spirit of cooperation and participation among employees.” This continuous focus on meeting their needs underscores their vital role in contributing to the Bank's success at various levels.
At the end of her statement, Al Arbash expressed her appreciation for the enthusiastic participation of the children during the ABK Juniors Day 2024 event.
