Kuwait City, August 7: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait organized its annual summer program for staff’s children and relatives to train them on coding and digitization in cooperation with the Australian University of Kuwait which goes in line with ABK’s commitment to support youth and provide them a chance to benefit and get more knowledge during summer break.

The Program was held over two weeks at the Australian University of Kuwait premises witnessing a wide participation from staff’s children and relatives. The Program offered the trainees an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the world of coding and digital transformation, which recently gained great significance across all fields, through multiple workshops that introduced the trainees to a wide pool of essential information around the technological developments in the banking industry and all sectors in Kuwait and around the world.

Commenting on this occasion, the General Manager of Human Resources at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Afrah Al-Arbash said “We make sure to organize a special program for staff’s relatives every year as part of wellbeing strategy creating opportunities that are inclusive of our employee’s family members contributing to the growth of their relatives.”

Al-Arbash added that ABK worked hand in hand with The Australian University of Kuwait to present a program that is rich with knowledge and essential training on the topic of digitization and digital transformation which gained great significance across all fields today thus gaining great significance to the Bank, pointing out that the program aims to build new generations who are capable to benefit from the digital transformation of the state.

She explained further that the initiative allowed trainees to discover their capabilities through the presenting various practical exercises in addition to emphasizing the importance of teamwork in order to achieve common goals and implement plans according to the specified timeline while influencing youth and encouraging them to explore the latest technologies in digitization and digital transformation and the best ways to benefit from them.

Al-Arbash revealed that Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait continues to invest in the future generation as part of its national responsibility as a pioneering financial and banking institute in Kuwait, indicating that the Bank will continue to organize more training programs on different topics in the future which will contribute to raising its competitive position in the banking sector in Kuwait.

Concluding her statement, Al-Arbash expressed gratitude to those who participated in the program, praising the interaction of trainees and hoping for the cooperation to continue between the two parties in future in a way that contributes and reflects positively to staying up to date with the technological developments on all levels.
