KUWAIT CITY, October 19: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) announced its participation for the third consecutive year in the third annual Watheefti job exhibition held at The Arena from October 17 to 19. This initiative is part of the Bank's ongoing commitment to engage with graduates and job seekers, reinforcing its responsibility as a key banking institution in Kuwait and supporting providing job opportunities for youth in the private sector.

The exhibition involved participation from numerous companies across various sectors, showcasing available job opportunities and discovering talent within the Kuwaiti market. ABK’s Human Resources team received numerous applications to recruit promising national cadres, thus further strengthening the Bank’s position as one of the best local employers in the private sector as a whole and the banking sector in particular.

On this occasion, Afrah Al Arbash, General Manager of Human Resources at ABK, stated, "Watheefti is one of the most prominent annual events we are keen to participate in. This reflects the great interest that the Bank places in attracting the best talents and enhancing its team with the top capabilities. This is part of our continuous commitment to investing in young talents and providing them with all forms of support.” She continued, “Participating in job fairs represents a starting point for graduates and university students to carve their career paths, effectively develop their skills, connect them with employers across all sectors, and contribute to preparing them for joining the labor market in the best possible way.”

Al Arbash added that ABK is keen to recruit strong national candidates, which is evident in the Bank’s nationalization percentage – one of the highest in the banking industry in Kuwait. She emphasized that ABK strives to consistently support these talents, as well as Executive Management members, in developing their skills.

During the exhibition, ABK showcased its various job opportunities and highlighted the benefits it offers to employees. The Bank organized engaging activities and events for visitors, and its booth attracted a significant number of attendees. The team provided insights into the nature of work within the banking sector and specifically at ABK, detailing daily tasks across its divisions, departments, and branches, along with the competitive employee benefits that position it as one of the leading employers in the Kuwaiti banking sector.
