Kuwait City, Feb 14: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) proudly announced its sponsorship of the 2024 Blood Drive under the theme of ‘Your Blood, Their Hope,’ organized by LOYAC in collaboration with Kuwait Central Blood Bank and TriStar Motorcycles.

This compelling initiative aimed to encourage blood donation while engaging with the public to underscore the importance of community involvement and altruism.

The event kicked off with a biker’s journey where they assembled at LOYAC early in the morning and rode to the venue, symbolizing the spirit of working together for a common cause. A press conference followed featuring remarks by Sager Albenali, Acting Chief Communications Officer at ABK, as well as Jafar Behbehani, owner of TriStar Motorcycles, underlining the significance of the event and its goals.

Albenali expressed his enthusiasm stating, "We are truly excited to have had the opportunity to bring the community together. This event is not only about encouraging blood donation but also about fostering a sense of unity and compassion within the community. We believe that by coming together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of those in need."

The event featured a diverse range of activities, including a live singing performance, raffle draws for donors, engaging competitions, and a children's activities corner. Additionally, attendees had the chance to explore booths pertaining to various companies, restaurants, and cafés, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere.

"We are thrilled to see the overwhelming support from the community and our partners as we come together to make a difference in the lives of those in need," remarked Fotouh Al-Dalali, Member of the LOYAC Board. “The 2024 Blood Drive proved to be an enriching experience that not only helped raise awareness about the importance of blood donation but also brought people together in a spirit of compassion and solidarity."

ABK’s participation in the 2024 Blood Drive highlighted the importance of working together as a community, showcasing humanitarian efforts while encouraging public attendance for blood donation, and inspiring the youth to become blood donors - all under the overarching theme of collective hope and support.
