The "Kaifan Boys" are aiming for their seventh Super Cup title, while the "Mansouriya Boys" are looking to capture their first ever win in the tournament.
The Super Volleyball Championship has a rich history, with the tournament held nine times before this season. Al-Qadsiya claimed the inaugural title in the 2014-2015 season, followed by Kazma's victory in the 2015-2016 season. Kuwait Club dominated the competition with five consecutive titles from 2016-2017 to 2021-2022 (note that the championship was not held in 2018-2019). Kazma took the trophy in 2022-2023, while Kuwait Club returned to glory last season, claiming the 2023-2024 Super Cup.
