KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: Al-Arabi Club has announced the appointment of Tunisian volleyball coach Haitham Al-Waslati to lead the first team for the upcoming season, which begins this Thursday with the Federation Championship. Al-Arabi will kick off their campaign next Monday against Al-Shabab.

Al-Waslati brings extensive experience to the team, having previously coached the Jordanian national team and led Oman’s Al-Salam Club.

The club parted ways with Ukrainian coach Viktor Boldareev by mutual consent due to personal reasons, despite signing him in July. Boldareev requested to be relieved of his duties, and the club's management agreed to his request.

In addition, Al-Arabi's management approved the technical and administrative staff for the new season. The staff will be headed by Fouad Al-Muzaidi, with Hussein Al-Rumi as game director, Mohammed Al-Qattan as technical director, Al-Waslati as head coach, Adel Al-Muzayel as assistant coach, Mohammed Boushkhar as physical trainer, and Ahmed Ghazi as physical therapy specialist.
