KUWAIT CITY, July 24: Adnan Abel, a member of Al-Arabi Club’s Board of Directors, announced that the club has initiated the process of preparing a bid to host the 2033 Club World Cup. The club formed a dedicated committee to handle the application, which started its work the day before yesterday. Abel stated that the initial concept of the bid is expected to be finalized early next year.

In an interview with Al Arabiya’s sports news bulletin, Abel emphasized that the committee is working on the application and coordinating with relevant authorities. He also noted that Kuwait is currently undertaking several major infrastructure projects, including the construction of new stadiums, the development of the new Kuwait International Airport, and the completion of new hotels.

Abel concluded by mentioning that the committee has reviewed previous hosting requests that were rejected by FIFA to ensure that all potential issues are addressed and avoided in their current bid.
