KUWAIT CITY, Feb 17:  Al-Arabi Football Club secured a decisive victory over Al-Nasr with a commanding score of 6-3 in the latest fixtures of the local Premier League (Zain League) on Saturday. The match, held at Sabah Al-Salem Stadium, saw Al-Arabi dominate the first half with three goals scored by Anayo Iweala, Walid Al-Sabbar, and Hamza Khaba. Al-Nasr managed to net one goal through Meshal Al-Shammari but struggled to close the gap. In the second half, Al-Arabi extended their lead with goals from Badr Tariq, Bandar Al-Salama, and Ayman Sfaxien, while Al-Nasr's Hancel Zapata and Abdullah Al-Shami managed to add two goals. This victory propelled Al-Arabi to the top of the leaderboard with 39 points, while Al-Nasr remained in fifth place with 21 points.

Meanwhile, at Khaitan Stadium, Al Salmiya played out a goalless draw against Khaitan in a closely contested match. With this result, Al Salmiya's points tally increased to 24, maintaining their position in fourth place, while Khaitan remained in ninth place with 9 points. The 16th round of fixtures will conclude tomorrow, Sunday, with two matches scheduled. The first match will see Kuwait, currently in second place with 36 points, take on Al-Fahaheel, ranked sixth with 18 points. The second match will feature Al-Qadisiyah, third in the standings with 32 points, facing off against Kazma, positioned seventh with 18 points.
